Sant Baba Bishan Singh Murewale and Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji's Dib Drishtee

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

One time Sri Maan Sant Baba Bishan Singh Ji Muralewale the 10th jathedhar of Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Taksal was walking and he came across one of his students Sant Baba Sundar Singh ji who was doing tapasaya in kapli asan (posture)
Sant Ji’s head was on the floor towards the earth and his feet were high in the air cross legged.

Sant Baba Bishan Singh Ji Muralewale asked Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji, ‘what are you doing?’
Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji replied, ‘I don’t know what to do, but wherever I look I see Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. Which ever direction I put my feet in, there I see Guru Nanak Dev Ji. I don’t know where to put my feet, so I sit in this position’.
Sant Baba Bishan Singh Ji Muralewale replied, ‘Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj is extremely pleased by your recitation of Sri Jap ji sahib and your Dib Drishtee(celestial vision) has fully opened.'

gurfateh

i attended a camp this summer and the sevadaars were asked about the taksal and the history behind it. They told us like it was baba sunder who started it in the 1900s i think and it's not 300 years old or anything like that. I just want to know, what proof do you have about the lineage in your banner? or is that just make belief like we were told?

thanks

proof? well firstly Sant Gyani Baba Sundar Singh Ji has written that he was a student of Sant Baba Bishan Singh Murewale - the sakhi itself above is a testament to this.

Anyways, I've never seen written 'proof' about the lineage of guru sahib's taksal, but having said that all the proof I need comes from the holy mouths of those beautiful souls which Guru Sahib has blessed who have done seva as the jathedhars of his taksal.

I'll post some audio links later on.

Another thing which you should keep in mind, most of the old history books which people look to for 'proof' have many antigurmat things recorded in them, which have been added/written in an attempt to distort and destory this beautiful path of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj.

Anyways end of the day no matter where the taksal came from it will always be here to serve Guru Sahib's panth.

Why do people always run to history books for history instead of trusting what a gursikh tells them? Even Sooraj prakash has some wrong stuff in it like guru arjan dev jee doing pooja of some devi when guru hargobind sahib got sick even though sikh history tells us through the words of mahapurkhs that guru arjan sahib jee said the shabad "tap gavavay gur pooray" when guru hargobind shib got better....so whose word are oyu gonna take there, the histroy book of the mahapurkh? Also, sooraj prakash also states that Guru Gobind Singh wore earings even tho guru gobind singh's own bani tells us that guru sahib didnt wear earings, just read the shabad "kahiyo prabhu so bhaak ho". Also, Sooraj prakash tells us that raag mala isnt bani, which is also wrong.

And don't forget that kavi bhai Santoh Singh was actually a gurmukh with emmese bhagti, so if he could make these mistakes, imagine the errors made by a normal author.
